Mary Nellis is the Director of International Services for Students and Scholars at RPI. She oversees operations and ensures compliance with federal regulations. Mary has over 15 years of experience supporting international students and scholars and is a strong advocate for campus internationalization. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering, traveling, cooking, and outdoor adventures with her dog.

Emilie Buse is the Associate Director of International Services for Students and Scholars at RPI. She manages the Terra Dotta system, advises students on immigration matters, and processes employment requests. Emilie previously worked at Pratt Institute and holds a BA from Purchase College and an MA from NYU. She studied abroad in Spain and India and loves visiting the Troy Waterfront Farmers Market.

Reba Cappelli is an International Student Advisor in International Services for Students and Scholars at RPI. She has nearly a decade of experience in student affairs, program development, and case management. Reba earned her BS in Health Sciences with a minor in Spanish from Russell Sage College. In her free time, she enjoys audiobooks, podcasts, musical soundtracks, and spending time with her Yorkie, Milo-Houdini, and her cat, Waffles.

Michael Holderreed is the International Exchange Visitor Specialist in the Office of International Services for Students and Scholars at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He holds a BA in International Studies from the University of Oregon and an MA in TESOL from Portland State University. Michael has served as an English teacher, Director of Student Services, and for the past five years as a DSO and ARO supporting students with immigration and academic goals. He enjoys exploring the local area, running, cooking, and woodworking.

Karen Dvorak is the Education Abroad Program Manager at RPI. She helps connect students with study abroad and exchange opportunities around the world and encourages all students to add an international experience to their education.
